The 7 cars which will be released are listed below
Kia seltos
Kia Seltos Engines: The SUV will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It is going to get a set of new 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines and a turbocharged 1.4-litre petrol engine as well. All of these are BS6-compliant engines. Kia is also expected to launch a plug-in hybrid variant of the SUV at a later stage.
Kia Seltos Safety: This compact SUV will come with upto six airbags, ABS with EBD, brake assist, vehicle stability management (VSM), electronic stability control (ESC) and hill assist control (HAC) too.system with Kia’s UVO connected car technology, auto AC and an 8-inch head-up display too. Other comfort enhancing features include ventilated front seats, power-adjustable driver’s seat, 7-inch multi-information display, an eight speaker Bose sound system, a sunroof and leatherette upholstery.
2. Maruti xl6
The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is premium six-seater version of the which will go on sale on 21 August 2019. It features various cosmetic updates including a new front fascia, roof rails, black alloys and body cladding all around. Along with features like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seat anchors and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, the XL6 is likely to get LED headlamps with LED. Under the hood, the XL6 is expected to get a BS6 version of the K15B petrol engine that also powers the standard Ertiga.
3. Renault triber
Launch and Price: The Triber is expected to be launched in the second half of 2019. It will be placed between the Kwid and the Duster in Renault’s Indian lineup, with prices expected to range between Rs 5.5 lakh - Rs 7 lakh.
Engine and Transmission: It will feature a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine which will churn out 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual as well as a 5-speed AMT. The ARAI fuel efficiency figure for the manual variant is 20kmpl while the AMT is more efficient with a 20.5kmpl figure. 4 . Tata altroz
Expected Engines: The Geneva model had the Nexon’s 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with a power rating of 102PS and 140Nm while mated to a 5-speed manual. Tata is also expected to offer the Altroz with a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine (also from the Nexon). An AMT (automated-manual transmission) is also expected to be on offer for both the Nexon-sourced engines. As a premium hatchback and as seen at the Geneva debut, the Altroz is likely to get features like an analogue-digital instrument cluster, a 7-inch infotainment system, cruise control and auto climate control with rear AC vents too.
5. Jeep Wrangler
New Wrangler Unveil:The Wrangler made its global debut at the 2017 LA Motor Show.
New Engines: The new Jeep Wrangler comes with significant upgrades to its equipment list as well as powertrain options. The India-spec Wrangler is expected to come with a new 2.2-litre diesel and a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, both mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
6. bmw 3 series 2019
Engines: The new 3 Series was unveiled with a variety of engine iterations of which only three are expected to come to India. The 330i petrol variant is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol engine which produces 258PS/400Nm. Its 320d diesel variant will be powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder 190PS/400Nm with an xDrive version (all-wheel-drive) as well. All engines will be paired to an 8-speed: BMW has updated the dashboard layout of the new 7th-gen 3 Series with larger displays too. The MID is now 5.7-inches in size and the infotainment system has an 8.8-inch display. It may come with the optional BMW Live Cockpit that gets a 12.3-inch full. Globally, LED interior lighting, powered front seats as standard while a Harmon Kardon surround sound system and wireless charging are optional. It is expected to come with cruise control as well.
Safety: It is expected to come with front and rear parking sensors, rear view camera, six airbags, rain sensing wipers, tyre pressure monitoring system and ISOFIX child seat anchors too. BMW may offer a 360-degree camera view as an optional extra.
7. Hyundai i10
Hyundai is set to launch the next-gen Grand i10 in the second half of August 2019.
The 2019 Grand i10 has been spotted testing multiple times and it will come with a redesigned exterior and interior. In terms of engines, the Grand i10 is likely to carry forward the same set of 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engines. This time around, Hyundai might offer it with an AMTlike the Santro with both the engine options.
